Social Enterprise

specialising in Waste Minimisation

We’re a Social Enterprise specialising in Waste Minimisation. Waste No More started in 2012 coming out of the Nelson Arts Festival’s effort to curb waste at their signature event The Masked Parade & Carnival.
Carlo and Kahu were part of that effort and Carlo eventually took over further waste minimisation at council events. Soon there was more demand from other events and waste minimisation started being promoted widely.
Around 2016 the name and branding ‘Waste No More’ was introduced and Ana joined the team soon after.
In our constitution Waste No More is defined as a non-for profit entity.

Our values

We are driven by the respect, love and responsibility we have as kaitiaki of our environment. Working for clients and at events allows us to publically spread the word that enjoyment need not come at the expense of this Earth/ Papatūānuku. Our hope is that through example, these practices are then adapted into the lives of our clients and participants.

Come & join the team

Join our great team and make our mission your mission. We have job vacancies coming up frequently, whether it’s a one-off event or joining us for the busy summer season. We need as many hands as we can get to reach our goals.
